California Donor Table: 2026 Priority Candidate List

3 min readFeb 26, 2026

Updated 3/27/2026

CDT recommends these priority candidates to invest in for the 2026 mid-term elections in November. California is a huge state, and we most certainly omitted great candidates from across the state. This list, including priority and other candidates, is quite long. If you have the capacity to give beyond this list, want to concentrate on a specific region or constituency, or want other more detailed advice, please reach out to us.

This list focuses on candidates who need support. These races include local candidates, state legislative candidates running against corporate-backed Democrats fighting through the general election, and others facing recalls.

While this list mentions our organizational grantees who made these referrals, it does not include the possible independent expenditures many may make in these races. We will advise on this work in future correspondence.

We encourage you to support these candidates directly through their ActBlue pages or contribute to our PEPAC ActBlue page.
