CDT Mobilized $15.1M Ahead of General Election
Last month, we shared exciting news about the financial resources we had strategically allocated since the primary, courtesy of Progressive Era PAC. Today, we’re proud to announce that, for the 2023–2024 cycle, the California Donor Table and our extensive network of donors and partner funders have mobilized over $15 million across various tax statuses. This monumental achievement underscores our commitment to power-building and wielding initiatives that aim to effect transformative change.
This significant financial mobilization is a testament to our collaborative effort and shared vision of fostering racial equity and justice in California by building power in communities of color and helping them wield the power they’ve built. By channeling these resources towards grassroots organizations, advocacy groups, and change-maker public officials, we’re supporting a broad spectrum of initiatives aimed at combating systemic injustices and uplifting communities across the state. Our investment spans critical areas such as environmental justice, educational reforms, healthcare accessibility, and racial equity, addressing not just the symptoms of societal disparities but their underlying causes.
As we celebrate this milestone, we recognize the journey ahead is filled with challenges. However, with the unwavering support of our network of donors, partners, and allies, we remain more motivated than ever to push the boundaries of what is possible. Together, we’re not just funding projects; we’re investing in a vision of the future that is inclusive, equitable, and just. We look forward to seeing the transformative impact these resources will have in the years to come, reaffirming our role in the collective endeavor of building and wielding power for positive change across California.
